Reflection hologram exposed using a green laser on photopolymer emulsion. Trimmed and re-mounted within a mixed-media sculpture.

Sunny Nestler’s original test for incorporating holograms within sculptural pieces. For this piece, they took a successful hologram and mounted a small section onto the center of the sculpture. Due to the small size of the embedded hologram (< 1” x 1”), most of the hologram’s detail was lost.
